performing ourGranthams Anthem (lyrics below)

~~ Granthams Anthem ~~

As you come off the ferry, take the first left you come to
And keep right on going till you see a big sign
It says welcome to Gibsons; and though it’s nice to feel welcome
It’s obvious that you’ve gone too far
But don’t get discouraged
Just find somewhere to turn around
And get yourself headed back whence you came
As you drive through the Squamish land get set to take the next left
At the bottom of the steep hill that will soon be at hand
Or you could hang a left at the top on to Harvey
But you can’t see what’s coming
And you could wind up dead
Then as you drive past the wharf don’t consider it for too long
Or you might miss the turn off that takes you up church road.
And if you’re driving a standard you might want to gear down
Otherwise you could blow out your clutch
Oh Granthams our Granthams your hills we find daunting
We dread going up them but enjoy going down
But the one thing that’s good about our challenging topography
It confers upon the residents the firmest butts around.
